Almost crashed the car this morning while laughing at the Beeb having to report with a straight face that ‘experts fear’ that Merkel and Hollande are going to Russia because Putin is attempting to drive a wedge between Europe and the U.S.
Couldn’t possibly be because the U.S. attempt to isolate Russia by destabilising Ukraine has backfired so horribly that even Uncle Sam’s close allies are having to take the initiative in stopping the rot before the Americans do something really stupid, could it? And the BBC can’t possibly believe the line it’s pushing. No wonder Cameron wasn’t asked along.
